  • Thu, 15:08: Group is now 8, and we actually managed rope drop at Epcot. Light sprinkles of rain, but hopefully that will be all. Should stop later.
  • Thu, 15:09: Went straight to Soarin, about a 10 min standby. Now having breakfast at Sunshine Seasons. Breakfast panini for me. http://t.co/p0nlmbUuuc
  • Thu, 16:47: Went with J, K to do Test Track single rider which was a walk on. They're off to do more intense Mission Space and Sum of All Thrills.
  • Thu, 17:11: Caught up w others at lumberjack show in Canada--still lame despite addition of log-rolling. Now at Canada Circlevision.
  • Thu, 18:25: Herding cats in Epcot: Doris and Charlie ahead in Morocco, Stacey & Carol snacking in France, Eric and I in between.
  • Thu, 18:38: So much for Forecast.io "no rain for next hour" as sprinkles become real rain.
  • Thu, 18:40: Took shelter at American pavilion, will move on as rain slacks off again.
  • Thu, 20:09: Carol and Stacey decided to wait for next Voices of Liberty performance, rest of us strolled on looking for pins.
  • Thu, 20:11: MouseGear stop for pins and Erics purchase of tub of little green aliens for his wife to use in classroom.
  • Thu, 21:33: Disney Magic @ Guest Relations: Benjamin fr Arrete France noticed Charles and Doris's 50 anniversary buttons, gave them special pins.
  • Thu, 21:35: Traded pins with Duffy at stroller rental and at package pickup, then bus to resort. Mid afternoon meal in food court. Turkey club for me.
  • Fri, 04:48: Sun came out while we ate, temp dropped some. Even K, always warm, texted us to bring her some jeans and a long sleeved shirt.
  • Fri, 04:50: Six of us set off in rental van to Yacht Club, Stacey volunteering to drive as she drives a minivan regularly. Pin traded YC lobby.
  • Fri, 04:51: Off to pontoon boat for fireworks cruise, open with cushioned seats, slightly damp despite towels covering them after day's rain.
  • Fri, 04:52: Can have 8 boats for an evening, only 6 out tonight. Cruise around Epcot resorts area, down to Studios, back to resorts lake then to Epcot.
  • Fri, 04:54: Very nice driver/skipper, Tracey--nurse by day, boats for Disney 3 nights/week. Gave a nice tour and great overview of Illuminations.
  • Fri, 04:55: Boats park in a row just inside the bridge from England to France in Epcot. Straight on but distant view of globe and much of show.
  • Fri, 04:57: Chips/popcorn/cookies and soft drinks provided once we parked. If we'd predicted the cold weather, K would've paid charge for hot drinks.
  • Fri, 04:59: Even all the Northeasterners were bundling in provided blankets by end of evening--temp was about 52, felt colder on moving boat.
  • Fri, 05:00: Despite cold, fireworks cruise was great--good view, seated, and no need to stand around for an hour to hold a spot.
