Demolition is done

Day 2 got the kitchen and utility room clear to the subfloor. They also managed to put a hole in the drywall at the pocket door to the dining area, and chip the edge of the door itself...collateral damage, I guess. Pictures on the demolition page have been updated/added to.

Plans now are to start framing tomorrow, and to get it to the state that will allow them to move the electrical panel next Tuesday. Then Wednesday or Thursday they'll put the support beam in the attic to replace the load-bearing wall. A small pile of framing materials and the casings for two of the new pocket doors are in my garage, ready to go.
